Join us the second Tuesday of the month for a new series with broadcaster and jazz aficionado Alan P. Shultz. Dive into the jazz history, explore the genre, and learn about the careers and lasting impact of some of our greatest musicians. Schultz's career in radio broadcasting includes stations in San Bernardino, Hollywood, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Carmel, and currently KAJI-FM in Palm Desert. He is proud to serve on the prestigious American Jazz Institute Advisory Board (Palm Desert). Bossa Nova, the music of Brazil. Who helped create this "new music" and what influence has it had on Jazz? A discussion of those who helped bring this music to popularity in America.
